Duckett’s Grove, Co. Carlow
Originally a three storey over basement Georgian country great house built circa 1745.
The Duckett family lived there until around 1915. The house was gutted by fire in 1933. In September 2005, Carlow County Council acquired Duckett’s Grove and commenced the restoration of two interconnecting walled gardens. It was officially opened in September 2007 for use as a public park.
